This little 6 month old made my day. She is as sweet as she looks and it was an absolute overload of cuteness. I loved the way her mom dressed her, she just looked angelic. This is one of my favorite baby shoots yet thanks to the light, the outfits and the wonderful people. I shot Andrea and Brian's wedding back in 2010 and baby's newborn photos last summer so it was my pleasure seeing how much she has grown in six short months! Thank you Andrea and Brian for inviting me into your home again to capture such a precious time in your daughter's life. She is such a doll.
I was reminded yesterday that my blog has given the impression that I am not shooting much lately. I had an extremely busy fall season and unfortunately, my blog took a backseat to editing, shooting, designing and running the rest of my business. Now that the winter has arrived, I finally have a chance to catch my breath and I'm looking forward to blogging the weddings, engagements and portraits that have been sitting on my computer waiting for me to get around to them. I'll start with a recent session of this precious new baby boy. He was a delight to photograph and slept almost the entire time. Lots of babies lately, I'm loving it!
I met baby Addison a few short days after she was born. She had the sweetest little face and she was just so tiny! I love seeing not only babies at this stage but also new parents. Brian and Andrea just adored her and I love capturing that experience of welcoming a new baby girl into their family.
I had a hard time choosing favorites from this wedding. Not only were they a stunning couple, but both the light and timing was perfect for all of our outdoor shots. I just had so much fun capturing these images and I think (I hope) it shows in the final product. I loved shooting around Hoboken and I think it offered a great variety of different types of images. Seeing as this wedding was in early June, I think I need to start using less text and more images going forward. I'm hoping maybe I'll blog more regularly if that is the case :)
