I've known Liz for quite a long time. I think it may have been since Sunday School, is that right Liz!? Anyway, we reconnected post-college when she discovered my photography website and kindly recommended me to one of her friends who booked me for her wedding. The funny part is that Liz wasn't even engaged at the time and now I'll be photographing her wedding even before her friend's.
We shot Liz and Josh's engagement at Swarthmore College and in spite of the fact that we nearly missed the whole thing due to traffic and road closings, I think we still got some great shots! I can't wait for your wedding in November, it will be here before you know it :)
I never post twice in one day but I just received an email from Andrea, probably the nicest email I've ever gotten, and I couldn't wait until tomorrow to post these shots from their engagement on Friday.
Not only is Andrea a beautiful girl on the outside but she is sweet and bubbly and makes you feel totally comfortable around her. While Andrea was talking details with the venue coordinator, Brian and I chatted about college basketball and the Lakers, among other things. Like Andrea, he is totally easy to be around and they both just make you feel good. As a couple, Brian and Andrea are completely at ease with each other and on the same page. There is a gentleness between them that was very special to watch (and capture!). I can see that they have a very loving relationship and I think they are on a great path.
I loved shooting in Phoenixville and I think they scouted out fantastic spots to shoot. I am so glad that they were as pleased as I was with the outcome :)
I can't wait to shoot at the Phoenixville Foundry next weekend and again in November for Andrea and Brian's wedding. We were lucky enough to get inside for some shots on Friday and the space is extraordinary!
Thank you Andrea for the lovely email and for such a nice time on Friday morning.
I went to college with Leah and we had several mutual friends through the sports we played there. I was beyond excited when Leah asked me to photograph her wedding. As I've said before, I LOVE working with people I know, it makes it so special. I can't wait for Leah and Mike's wedding at the Radnor Hotel, I know it will be beautiful. We shot their engagement session at Longwood Gardens and I was so pleased with the way the images came out. Enjoy these few favorites of mine, it was hard to choose!
Christine and Bryan are getting married in PA but they live in NYC. I was so glad they wanted to shoot in DUMBO, one of my favorite spots. We took advantage of the new Brooklyn Bridge Park which has a stunning view of Manhattan. Both Bryan and Christine are super laid back and easygoing. They make each other laugh...a lot. It was refreshing to witness their sweet relationship and how much fun they have together.
I've been to downtown Bethlehem twice in one week for engagement shoots and both couples have been great and SO easy to shoot. It really makes working a treat when I have such wonderful clients. Looking forward to this wedding in July!
