Lauren and Brendan were married at the beautiful home of a family friend.  It was exactly what you would imagine, a garden party with delicious food and sunshine, beautiful weather and a lovely afternoon.  What made this wedding really unique was that they hired a Flamenco band to perform for their guests.  Lauren's family lived in Spain and shared a part of their experience there by bringing this part of the Spanish culture to the wedding.  For me it was definitely fun to see Flamenco again and photograph the beautiful dance and costumes.  The beautifully manicured gardens made a particularly lovely backdrop for all of their portraits.  

Anita and Eric hired me while living in Dubai.  Long-distance planning doesn't really get any longer than that.  Somehow, with the help of her mom, Anita planned a beautiful wedding where every detail came together and she even added a few of her own creative touches.  I was so impressed that they pulled this off living so far away.  Everything really came together wonderfully.  

Joanna and Rob were married at the beautiful Bryant Park Grill.  It is one of my favorite venues to work at because of the opportunity to shoot in the park and at the library and because everything always seems to go according to plan.  They really know what they are doing there and the food is fantastic.  We had a nice window of time to shoot formals before the ceremony so it was nice taking our time around the city and enjoying the afternoon.  It was a lovely, laid-back and wonderful day.

May was a gorgeous month of weddings for me, and it also ended practically thirty days ago.  I am trying to catch this blog up with all of the beautiful events I photographed last month.  My first May wedding was Stephanie and Rob's.  They were one of the easiest couples I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  Thanks to both of you for trusting us completely all day, it was gorgeous and the pleasure was ours.  Georgi and I had such a fun time shooting, it didn't even feel like work.  It's always a privilege to work with clients who trust I'm doing my best and allow me to be creative so thank you, thank you!
