I have always had a love for taking pictures. At 8 years old I can remember coveting my mother’s film camera and badly wanting my own for Christmas. My first Konica arrived on Christmas morning and I decided to take a portrait of each family member present for the celebration in my Grandfather’s house. I still have those photos and after many of those faces are no longer present, I wonder what it was that prompted me to document who was there and present in my life that day.

I have been very lucky to work with wonderful couples and families who truly appreciate the art of photograhpy and family. I have had a lot of opportunities to see weddings unfold, personalities come alive and children open up to my camera lens. There is nothing like capturing the essence of someone or the feeling of a particular moment in a photograph. Photography is about reliving those moments and reflecting on the important people in your life. I hope my photographs bring you back to treasured moments and the people with whom your life has been blessed.
