A Winter Wedding at the Woolverton Inn

I was married in March so winter weddings always feel extra special for me. In spite of the unpredictable weather, there is always a glow inside and your party always feels that much warmer than the cold outside. Melanie and Brandon were married at the beautifully renovated barn space at the Woolverton Inn. I have photographed weddings in all of the spaces of this beautiful property and not one of them disappoints. Rain or shine, events are always show stopping there. I’ll let the images tell the story of their February day but I am always so grateful to have a few winter weddings on my schedule to break up the long quiet season that seems to settle in during these months. Congratulations, Melanie and Brandon. You are a beautiful pair.

Photographer, runner, mother, writer, inspired by emotion, good light, and the humanity in each of us.

Kate earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Delaware and has been photographing the world ever since. Most interested in the raw emotion of what it means to be alive, photographing people has always been her first love and has only intensified as she's gained experience over the years. Whether on the floor of your playroom or in the ballroom of a grand affair, people watching is still what interests her most. When she is not behind a camera, you can find her playing tennis, memory keeping for her own family, listening to live music or losing track of time through other creative hobbies.
